Hi, I’m Simon.
I’ve been working with film and photography for more than ten years and have filmed over 80 weddings. I know when the important moments are coming, and I’m already in the right spot when they do.
I started out with travel films and promotional videos, which taught me how to tell a story in just a few minutes. Today I do that for your wedding: a film that feels like your day, beautiful, honest and full of emotion. That’s what couples often tell me when they watch their film for the first time.
On the day itself I’m there without getting in the way. I stay in the background, keep things relaxed and work hand in hand with your photographer. You simply enjoy your day, and I make sure nothing gets lost.
Before you book, we get to know each other, on a video call or in person, and I’ll be with you in English from beginning to end: first call, planning, the day itself and your finished film.

Ideally in person, otherwise on a video call, in English of course. If we meet up, the first coffee is on me. We go through your plans and what matters most to you.

Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, your date is reserved for you.

Your photos are in your online gallery within two weeks. Your film follows after that.

Do you work in English?
Yes, completely. From our first call and the planning to the wedding day itself and your finished film, I work with you in English. English speeches and vows are no problem.
What are your wedding films like?
My wedding films are highlight films: the very best of your day. Edited footage, drone shots, music and excerpts from your toasts, speeches and vows, put together with care and an eye for detail.
How much does a wedding film cost?
Every wedding is unique and every couple has their own ideas, so there’s no flat price. Send me your date and your plans for the day, and I’ll put together a tailored quote.
How many hours should we book you for?
I tailor my packages to what you need. My advice: from getting ready to your first dance. That way the film tells your whole day from start to finish.
How long until our film is ready?
Editing, colour grading, choosing music and mixing sound is a creative process that takes time. We’ll agree on when you receive your film as part of your quote.
How do we book you?
Send me your date via the form, email or WhatsApp. If it’s still free, we’ll get to know each other, ideally in person, otherwise on a video call. Your date is reserved once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid.
Do you also offer wedding photography?
Yes. You can book photo and film separately or together. Together, you get everything from one hand, perfectly matched and in one consistent style.
Do you travel for weddings outside Cologne?
Yes, gladly. I’m based in Cologne and the Rhineland, but I cover weddings across Germany and abroad, including destination weddings. We plan the travel together, and it’s part of your individual quote.
How many photos will we get?
As many as there are good ones – there’s no limit. You get every great shot from your day, fully edited.
When will our photos be ready?
Your photos are ready within two weeks, so you won’t have to wait long to relive your day.
How do we receive the photos?
In your own online gallery. You can view and download every photo there, and simply share the link with your guests.
Can we post and print the photos?
Yes. You’re free to use the photos privately: on Instagram, for prints, your photo album or thank-you cards. If you tag me on Instagram (@makemoments_official), I’d love that.
